All about Baltic Amber • Gold of the North
What is Amber?
Amber is fossilised tree resin, a golden healing syrup ancient trees have poured onto their wounds, which hardened over millennia. Some specimens have lived on our planet for more than 40 million years.
How has it formed?
It began 45 million years ago. Coniferous forests in Scandinavia (now extinct), have been "transported" over by a glacier to the coast of Poland – giving the Amber its famous name "Gold of the North".
Where is it found now?
Carrying the wisdom of nature's elements, Baltic Amber is harvested on Polish sandy shores on early mornings at Sobieszewska Island. This wonderful tree creation is found both in the ground, and in water.
Straight from Source.
The Baltic Sea is the original, and one of very few sources of Amber on Earth.
Each of your unique Lierie treasures consists of Baltic Amber found on the coast of Poland.
